Preface...

Let us explain our title: "We know what's best for each other..." This little line came about during our undergraduate years in Memphis, TN. It probably came about from nights of drinking in college and convincing ourselves that a bad idea was a really a good idea.

Over the years, it's become a catch phrase that we use with our friends when we have crazy ideas that we want to come true. It's also been the deciding factors among many road trips. For instance, New Orleans in the summer of 2004. We kidnaped our friend, Colleen. While getting on the highway, with Colleen freaking out that she couldn't spend the weekend in New Orleans, we merely turned towards the back and said, "Colleen, we know what's best for you." Little did she know, we were right. We called her work, got her off for the afternoon, and stopped by her house and packed her bags. Her mom thought we were cleaning her room.

Now, in 2009, this phrase still determines a lot of crazy ideas in our lives. Like today, Michelle quit her job last week and moved to Chicago. She now lives with Jenny in a one bedroom apartment. Jenny decided to not work for a month and hop a plane to Ireland.

The plan is for Michelle to get a job and figure out living in the city--alone. Jenny, well, we're hoping she'll be on her return flight home. Somebody's gotta pay the rent. Michelle's unemployed for the first time since being 14 years old and we're not quite sure the likelihood of her getting off the couch and getting a job.

So, now you have a basic understanding of how this blog came to be. If you don't, maybe you should move to Chicago because we know what's best for you...
